The School Benefit Card is our way of thanking you, our loyal shoppers and assisting your school with fundraising. Our School Benefit Card is assigned to your School and every time you swipe your card in one of our stores your School earns 1% cash back on your purchases.

For every Rand spent we give you loyalty points. Plus you qualify for our promotions and in-store specials where you can earn additional points even faster. All these points earn you cash back on your card for future purchases.

OUR PROMISE

At School & Leisure we are 100 percent committed to protecting the private information of our customers.The School Benefit Card promise lets you know exactly what we do with your personal details.

We need your cell phone number, email address or postal address to give you the full rewards of the School Benefit Card. We also need your ID or passport number to safeguard your points.

Your details will never be used for spam. We will never share your personal details with any other company unless it is entirely necessary for the operation of the School Benefit Card. We comply strictly with the terms of the Consumer Protection Act (effective 1 April 2011).

Should you ever decide you would like us to remove all of your details from our database, we will do so immediately.


TERMS AND CONDITIONS

(a) The School Benefit Card is a loyalty programme owned by School & Leisure

(b) School and Leisure own and operate the schoolshops inside Sportsmans Warehouse Blackheath.

The Programme shall endure until a date that School & Leisure in its sole discretion elects. The Programme is open to all customers who are natural persons, either South African citizens or permanently resident in South Africa ('qualifying individuals').

In order to become a member of the Programme, qualifying individuals can register for the Programme in store by completing a School Benefit Card application form. Once the qualifying individuals fulfil the provisions of clause 4 above and thereby accept the Programme Terms & Conditions, they shall become members of the Programme capable of earning rewards (loyalty points).

Rewards may not be allocated on certain discounted/promotional items at the Programme Owner's discretion.

Participation in the Programme and any rewards earned or redeemed are subject to these terms and conditions, which will be interpreted by the Programme Owner in its sole and absolute discretion. The Programme Owner's decision regarding any dispute related to the Programme will be final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into. The Programme Owner reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time during the Programme with due notice being provided to the Members.

A Member will be identified with reference to their card number. Any queries regarding points earned or redemption must be directed to staff responsible for our loyalty programme at our schoolshop.

The rewards redeemed pursuant to the Programme are not transferable and/or negotiable. Rewards can only be redeemed in respect of the unique identifier that the rewards were earned on. Where a Member has more than one unique identifier, the rewards earned by that Member in respect of the different lines cannot be pooled into one Member's account.

Loyalty rewards may be transferred from a Member's account on the following terms and conditions:

(a) The transfer can only take place from one Member's account to another Member's account. The unique identifier is required to be present in order to earn/redeem rewards.

Programme rewards earned by a Member will automatically be allocated by the Programme Owner from the date of registration on the Programme as follows: 

(b) The current rate for rewards is 0.5% which will be allocated to Registered members on products purchased from our shop. School & Leisure reserves the right to alter this % reward at any time in its sole and absolute discretion. Your School will receive a cash reward of 1% on the total spend in our shop. School & Leisure reserves the right to alter this % reward at any time in its sole and absolute discretion.

(c) Rewards may only be earned/redeemed on school uniform products at our Schoolshop inside Sportsmans Warehouse Blackheath.

(d) A floor limit of R25 will be implemented in terms of a minimum cash out spend amount.

Any rewards earned in terms of the Programme may only be redeemed for products and/or services within the Programme itself. Points cannot be redeemed for cash at any time whatsoever.

As part of the registration process, the Member has a choice to Opt into receiving communication regarding the Programme. Once opted in the Member can at any point in time decide to opt out by one of the following means:

(a) Contact the Programme Owner's help desk

(b) In store at our schoolshop

(c) By following the Opt Out process as per any of the communication

All members indemnify Innervation, UCS, School & Leisure, Sportsmans Warehouse and their directors, officers, employees and agents, against any and all claims for any loss or damage, whether direct, indirect, consequential or otherwise, arising from any cause whatsoever in connection with their participation in any way whatsoever in the Programme.

Any amended terms and conditions published in the media, or on the Programme Owner website www.schoolandleisure.co.za form part of the terms and conditions of the Programme, to which terms the Member agrees to be bound.

Rewards are valid for a minimum period of three (3) years as per the Consumer Protection Act.

Should any charges be raised against a Member's account, the Member will be notified by email or sms regarding the reason for the charge.
